Requirements
Proven experience as a lead cinematographer or senior videographer, with a strong portfolio of wedding films.
Proficiency in operating professional-grade cameras, lenses, and cinematography equipment.
Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
Strong storytelling and visual storytelling skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with clients and team members.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing conditions during weddings.
Availability to work weekends and travel to various wedding locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Production:
Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and specific requirements.
Plan shot lists and create a detailed shooting schedule for each wedding.
Coordinate equipment and gear requirements for each shoot.
Scout locations and assess lighting conditions in advance.
Cinematography:
Lead a team of cinematographers and guide them to capture the key moments, emotions, and details of each wedding.
Ensure proper framing, composition, and camera settings to achieve cinematic results.
Capture both candid and staged shots, focusing on storytelling through visuals.
Manage on-site challenges, such as lighting variations and unexpected changes.
Post-Production:
Edit and color grade footage to create a cohesive and visually stunning wedding film.
Incorporate music, sound design, and visual effects to enhance the cinematic experience.
Collaborate with the editing team to meet project deadlines and maintain a consistent style.
Review and make revisions based on client feedback.
Oversee the entire post-production process, ensuring the final product meets the highest quality standards.
Team Leadership:
Mentor and train junior cinematographers and video editors to improve their skills and ensure a unified style.
Oversee the performance and coordination of the cinematography team.
Foster a collaborative and positive work environment within the videography department.
